While Whey Isolate has the highest amount of protein per serving, there is still a type of protein supplement which is still higher in protein.

Whey protein hydrolysate is a higher quality protein than both isolate and concentrate but is more expensive.

Whey hydrolysate has a high protein absorption rate and means it is more effective when taking either during the pre or post workout sessions. While it can be absorbed between 10 and 30 minutes, it is not advised to use this as a snack since the small amount of biologically active proteins make it not very effective in that use.

Hydrolysate are less commonly found among retailers due to the high price and lack of demand. Unless you have been on a regular whey protein supplementary regime for some time and are undertaking an intensive training regime, you won't really need to mix whey hydrolysate into your supplementary regime.
